Feminizing Purple Label’s iconic Alonzo slipper, this style continues Ralph Lauren’s custom of blending traditional Italian craftsmanship with sleek, modern styling. Trimmed with tonal grosgrain piping and embroidered with a script “RL” monogram at the vamp, this iteration is updated for the season with romantic floral embroidery. First, the Alonzo’s denim base is specially printed to create a vintage-inspired appearance. Next, colorful thread is machine-embroidered and tea-dyed to form a rose motif, which is then hand-applied to the denim base. Lastly, hand-embroidered details, including tonal glass beads, are top applied for added texture and dimension.
