Capturing the modern glamour and natural splendor of Ralph Lauren’s February 2017 Fashion Show
To showcase his February 2017 Collection, Ralph Lauren transformed his iconic women’s flagship store at 888 Madison Avenue into a lush garden oasis, lining the walls with verdant tropical greenery, charming mechanical butterflies, and more than 100,000 orchids. The result? A magical respite from the urban landscape—and a fitting backdrop for a collection “inspired by a nomadic spirit, an exotic sophistication,” in Mr. Lauren’s words. The event was one of New York Fashion Week’s most unforgettable moments, and our own Scott Rudin was on hand to capture the scene on film.
