Ralph Lauren launched Double RL in 1993 as an homage to his love of the American West. Named after his family ranch in Colorado, the brand quickly became known for workwear-inspired denim, flannels, workshirts, and khakis—timeless classics celebrated for their craftsmanship and style. It’s no surprise that in-the-know Double RL fans take pride in the quality and longevity of the brand’s pieces, often pointing out the number of times a pair of much-loved roper boots has been resoled or the unique fade on a decades-old trucker jacket. The close-knit family of Double RL store employees, past and present, are no exception. A mix of new collections, brand grails, and pieces from other heritage American labels, their unique sartorial choices embody the pioneering sensibility of Double RL while keeping the style all their own.
